- Senate. Democrats currently hold the Senate, but Republicans have a good chance of winning a majority. There are seven competitive Senate races, all held by Democrats, with five in presidential battleground states. Democrats will need to play perfect defense to maintain a 50/50 Senate.
- House. The odds are more favorable for Democrats in the House. Over a dozen Republicans are up for election in districts that voted for Biden in 2020, while only five Democrats are in districts that voted for Trump. Democrats are expected to outspend Republicans.
